Home-schooled Kenan in a class of his own

He's the son of Derrick and Juliette Classen.

KENAN Classen (17) has been selected to play in an official Protea U21 polocrosse team to represent South Africa in three-day Test Series against Ireland to be held in Mooi River, from March 30 to April 1 (and that’s no joke).

He achieved his national colours when he played against Australia in 2016, played in an unofficial international against Zambia last year, and will be awarded his full colours again this year.

Kenan lives in Oribi Gorge and is busy with his matric year, having been homeschooled since 2010.

He plans to study agricultural management after schooling is done.

He travelled to New South Wales in Australia last year where he helped out on an Australian stock horse stud farm for two months and learned a great deal about horses and horsemanship.
