Late start but fast finish for Michael Mzobe
There was some confusion at the start but all ended well enough.
THIRTY eight runners from Ugu Athletics Club took part in the Deloitte Marathon in Ballito last week Sunday.
The various members competed in the 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km distances.

There were three different starting points for the events which unfortunately meant a late start of 25 minutes for some of the club’s 42.2km runners.
However, they gave chase, catch and passed fellow competitors and finished comfortably.
Michael Mzobe was the first club finisher in an excellent time of 2:57:33, despite the fact that he is one of those who started 25 minutes late.
