GRAHAM Gold won the Pro Shop competition at Margate Country Club last week Thursday on 40 points.
He edged in one point ahead of Charlie Hartman who had 39 points, and three ahead of Keith Duncalf who had 37 points.
Nearest the pins were John Ford (4th) and Chris Nel (16th).

Last Saturday’s competition saw Flip Fourie take first place on 38 points, with Carlos Pereira second on 37 points.
Carlos counted out Ruben Visagie. Dave Morrison was fourth on 36 points.
Nearest the pins were John Webster (for two on 7th) and Kobus Gerber (11th).
The women’s competition last Saturday was won by Maureen Ogilvie, Hilary Hendry, Lizzie Meyer and Margaret Taylor on 40 points.
Last Tuesday’s women’s competition was an individual Stableford Nassau, won by Lizzie Meyer on 31 points.
First nine winner was Wandra Bothma on 19 points and the back nine winner was Agnes Spielman on 15 points.
Wobblers alliance winners were Freddie Boshoff, Frank Merrill and Piet Pretorius on 86 points.
Runners-up were Wimpie Jordaan, John Gibson and Alan Robinson on 85 points, followed by Peter Hunter, John Gibson and Alan Robinson on 80 points.
