BANNERS REST

The Golden Moon Spur 2-4-2 mixed pairs was won by Steve and Jenny Rennie, with runners-up Gino Alilovic and Amelia Pieterse.

Placed third were Dice Graaff and Myra Doubell, and the 50/50 board went to Jimmy McAllister.

Next sponsored competitions are the GP Security mixed pairs this Friday (6th) and the Tops Port Edward men’s pairs this Sunday (8th).

HIBBERDENE

Winners of the recent Suzuki South Coast mixed trips were Arthur and Miriam Seager, with Rentie Stevens.

Runners-up were Bez and Bubbles Bezuidenhout, with Jan Venter.

Session prize to Fay Patterson, Cheryl Knight and Louis Gerber.

MUNSTER

Spar mixed trips winners were Anthony Card, Lesley Lawson and Lynn Meek.

Runners-up were Piet Heunis, Cliff Moakes and Rina Fourie.

Second session to Tommy Dry, Margaret Moakes and Linsey Humphries. Board to Joey Anderson.

Cansa fund-raiser on Saturday, April 21 at 1.30pm. Cost is R20pp including bowls, tennis, squash, line-dancing and darts.

SOUTHBROOM

The Wolf Security open trips was won by Chris Poyzn, Danny Terblanche and Cobie Engelbrecht.

Runners-up were Nora Hill, Viv Date and Sandy Luus.

The first session went to Ina Malan, Carl Volker and Ralph Burls, the second to Helen Proctor, Mariette du Preez and Val Kirkbright, and the 50/50 board was won by Olwen Gibbs.

SOUTHPORT

Winners of the women’s trips sponsored by Harbour View SuperSpar were M Coetzer, B Gradwell and M Lindeque.

Second prize went to B Fernihough, A Scott and S Scholtz.

Session prize went to U van Eeden, A Reeder and D Krause.

Winners of the Dr D’Arcy men’s trips were Rynier van Tonder, Leon Sander and Barry Krause.

Second prize went to Bob Moroney, Fanie Strydom and Ian Gordon.

Session prize to Keith Mills, Richard Cochman and Peter Anderson.

THE BELL

The open fours competition sponsored by Imperial Select (Alberton) Multi-franchises was very well supported by bowlers from the Kingfisher district.

First prize went to Daphne Sapsford, Anne Swanepoel, Barbara Gradwell and Mada Lindeque.

In second place were Luke Pohl, Johannie Theron, Maureen Head and Kevin Mullen.

Third place went to Ken Tonge, Rob Miller, James Mitchell and Margaret Duffield.

TWENI

The Razzel’s mixed fours was won by Peet and Susan van Rooyen, with Barry and Desiree Krause, from runners-up Dennis and Jenny Graham, Daphne Hounsell and Peter Marsh.

Session prize went to Annette Suther, Astrid Jackson, Len Rossler and Nellie Davies.

VILLAGE

Ken Habben and Ina Malan won the Hopdens Kwikspar mixed 2-4-2, with Harry and Madge Nicolson the runners-up.

Session went to Cleve and Julie Walker.

First session to Norman Isherwood and Marie Momple. 50/50 winner was Alan Tyers.

Hibiscus Retirement Village men’s trips next Tuesday (10th) and Hibiscus Insurance Brokers mixed trips next Thursday (12th).
