MARGATE CC
The third round of the JL Panelbeaters men’s fours was won by AMBC members John Chamier, Colin Hudson, Tony Hoggins and Fire van Vuuren.
Runners-up were Trevor Heywood, Phil Audibert, Malcom Taylor and Gerald Crerar.
The Food Lover’s Market Chicken and Egg winners were Peter Griffiths, Dennis Rehbock and Ralf Burls.
Runners-up were Kobie Stander, Bill Eccles and Johan Cooper.
PSCC
Eddie Fann and Pat Maggs, with their teams, have made it to the semi-finals of the respective men’s and women’s KBA Midweek Fours.
The semi-finals and finals were scheduled to take place at Hibberdene yesterday (25th).
The April business bowls challenge, sponsored by Bates GM, was won by Richard Guy, Kathy Simpson and Paul Mundell.
MARGATE BC
Winners of the regular club competition were Manny, Herman and John Louch.
The Georgia Spur 2-bowl trips winners were Heather Roberts, Margi Purkiss and Mal Sheppard.
Runners-up were Ellen Cawker, Yvonne Bausek and Dina van der Walt.
Session to Marianne van Buuren, Mary Warner and Sariena Ziervogel.
PORT EDWARD
The Saverite Pro 10 trips was won by Don Saunders, Peter Ziervogel and Tommy Doubell from Dave Banks, Roger Humphrey and Yvonne Fillis.
Golden Moon Spur Scroungers last Sunday was won by Leoni Booth from Peter Ziervogel.
Saturday socials (tabs in) will be followed by a ‘Would I Lie to You’ show, followed by supper which includes pudding.
Casual clothes, bring a friend and visitors welcome – R50 per person.
BANNERS REST
The Port Edward SuperSpar mixed trips was won by Gino Alilovic, with Jimmy and Ann McAllister.
Runners-up were Dave Hume, Vi Pells and Ally Weir.
Second session went to John Keppler, Steve and Jenny Rennie, and the 50/50 board to Dave Hume.
Next sponsored competition is the Tops Port Edward men’s pairs on Sunday, May 6.
HIBBERDENE
Albert and Alida Munnik teamed up with Jan Venter to win the Suzuki South Coast mixed trips last Friday.
Runners-up were Jan and Helene Oostuizen with Nora Swart.
Session prize went to Alex Beukes, Martin Rautenbach and Gill Rule.
Next competition will be the Bourman Group mixed trips this Friday (27th).
SOUTHBROOM
Tony Waters, Cleve Walker and Graham Volck won the Tiago men’s trips last week.
Runners-up were Dieter Scholz, John Richards and Ian Hutton.
First session went to Brian Douthwaite, Gary Hess and Bill Eccles and the second to Ivan Hosken, Norman Isherwood and Fred van Niekerk.
50/50 board to Barry Herbert.
THE BELL
Fruit and Veg sponored 2-4-2 was won by Luke Pohl and Johannie Theron.
Second place went to Jane Massam and Rentie Stevens.
The session prize was won by Hew Hodgson and Mada Lindeque.
Orca’s sponsored mixed trips was won by Renzo van Niekerk, Hew Hodgson and Daphne Hounsell.
In second place were Peter and Gerda Clark, with Tina Barbour.
Winter times start on May 1, so tabs in by 1.15pm.

VILLAGE
The Martin Electronics men’s 2-4-2 winners were Alan Tyres and Clive Bignell from John Sutton and Hans Hugo.
First session to Ron Canning and Rennie Geyer with the second session going to Barry Christie and Norman Isherwood.
50/50 winner was Brent Addison.
Hyundi selected trips winners were Madge Nicolson, Aubrey Watson and Chris Allan.
