Track Torque: More Monza frustration for Ferrari
There was more Monza disappointment for Ferrari last Sunday.
Lewis Hamilton drove a real blinder of a race to win the one he shouldn’t have by beating Kimi Raikkonen in his Ferrari in front of the adoring Tifosi.
The Ferraris were the fastest cars and really should have won on their home ground, but this was not to be.

It’s been eight years since they won at this iconic venue.
Hamilton kept the pressure on for the entire race and right near the end pounced unexpectedly on Raikkonen.
It was an exciting race with lots of drama, notably that Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton had a coming together at the start of the race.
Fortunately, after spinning off, Vettel made a quick re-start and joined the fray working his way up the field to an eventual fourth place at the finish.
Those not to finish included Daniel Ricciardo, again, out after 23 laps with engine trouble.
Fernando Alonso went out after nine and Brendon Hartley was out at the first corner.
After Hamilton and Raikkonen came Valtteri Bottas, home in third in his Mercedes, 14 seconds behind Raikkonen.
Then followed Vettel in fourth, after Max Verstappen had been demoted two places following a five second penalty.
Hence, Verstappen only finished fifth after a typical cheeky but well driven race.
Esteban Ocon was next man in in sixth position in his Force India Mercedes while Romain Grosjean in his Haas Ferrari, who should have been sixth, was disqualified after a floor measurement was found to be illegal.
The second Force India, driven by Sergio Perez, was seventh, and Carlos Sainz was by far the best Renault driver in eighth place.
His teammate Niko Hulkenberg only finished 13th.
The Williams Mercedes team saw Lance Stroll in ninth place and Sergey Sirotkin in tenth.
Monza, as it usually does, produced some exciting racing.
Raikkonen took his 100th podium position and Hamilton now leads Vettel by 30 points.
There are still seven races to go with Singapore next on September 16.
