He has been chosen for the Glenwood U13 Invitation rugby team to tour the United Kingdom and Wales from December 7 to 16 this year.

The tour has been specifically constructed to expose the players not only to the sport essence of the people and offerings of the UK, but also the prospective opportunities available to them.

They’ll play games in Bath, Cardiff and London.

There’ll also be some excursions to places such as Stonehenge, the Principality Stadium (formerly known as the Millennium Stadium), London city, including the London Eye, as well as a cruise on the Thames River.

He needs to raise in the region of R40 000 for the trip.

Some of that has already been paid, but he could do with a little help with the rest, especially considering how the only thing taking more of a beating than our beloved Boks is the ragged Rand.

He’s the son of Bennie and Talita.

Tersius also plays first team hockey and likes to run the 100m sprint race, but rugby is his passion.
