HIBBERDENE

The Suzuki South Coast mixed trips were won by Arthur and Miriam Seager with Rentie Stevens.

Runners-up were Ollie Coetzer, Hana Svoboda and Lorraine van Heerden.

Jane Massam came second in her section at the KBA Masters and finishing joint third last weekend.

The following members of the club have been selected for various district squads: Veterans – Jane Massam; Open – Gail van Nikkelen-Kuyper; Men’s B side – Wayne van Nikkelen-Kuyper; President’s side – Bez Bezuidenhout, Albert and Alida Munnik.

The Interclub competition between Hibberdene, Sezela and Umtentweni at Hibberdene last Sunday was won by Sezela with Hibberdene second.

MARGATE BC

Georgia Spur women’s trips winners were Pam Cole-Cook, Vi Pells and Leoni Booth, from Heather Roberts, Margie Purkiss and Bev Clements.

Session prize went to Jessica Henderson, Ellen Cawker and Yvonne Bausek.

Thursdays tabs winners were Deon van Schalkwyk, David James, Henry Jacobs and Hugo Pio.

Congratulations to Pam Cole-Cook for winning the KBA Masters.

MARGATE CC

Winners of the JL Panelbeaters men’s fours were Kevin O’Donoghue, Tony Hoggins, Fires van Vuuren and Colin Hudson.

Runners up were Steve Rennie, John Keppler, Aubrey Hood and Andreas van der Linde.

Front runners on the ladder is still the team of Fires van der Linde followed by the team of Rod Phelps.

Winners of the La Capanina Restaurant were Kobie Stander, Eileen Lloyd and Johan Cooper.

Runners-up were Richard Griffiths, Pete McCarthy and Peta Egerton.

SOUTHBROOM

Tiago’s men’s trips were won by Malcolm Milne, Danny Terblanche and Nico Mantoan.

Runners-up were Tony Waters, Cleve Walker and Graham Volck.

Sessions to Dieter Scholz, Ian Hutton and Elliot Nqoko, as well as Denzil Massyn, Alan Tyers and Ali Mitchell.

50/50 board to Mike Jacquet.

SOUTHPORT

Well done to the Southport BC men on winning the trophy for Interclub Men’s Fours.

Runners-up were Hibberdene, followed by Umtentweni.

The Dr Darryl D’Arcy men’s trips will be played this Thursday (27th). The Geochem mixed trips will be this Sunday (30th).

THE BELL

Congratulations to Louw Vermeulen on winning bronze in the KBA Masters last weekend.

Winners of the Fruit and Veg 2-4-2 played last Friday were Desiree and Barry Krause, runners-up were Tammy Gibbons and Tony Aveyard.

Second session winners were Tony Olivant and Maureen Vorster.

Wimpy women’s pairs was won by Astrid Jackson and Nellie Davies from runners-up Desiree Krause and Winnie Hess.

Session prize went to Vell Mannion and Dehlia Lew.

Martin Electronics men’s 2-4-2 winners were Ali Mitchell and Doug Kent, from Hein Bester and Vernon Clements.

Session winners were Lucas Barnard and Bill Reed as well as Denzil Massyn and Gary Hess. 50/50 to Brent Adderson.
