KINGFISHER BA

WELL done to Eddie Fann (Port Shepstone CC) and Pam Cole-Cook (Margate BC) for winning the Kingfisher Bowling Association Masters singles recently.

Both players have received invitations to play in the National BSA Veteran’s Masters.

Runners-up were Roy Anderson (Port Shepstone CC) and Leoni Booth (Port Edward.

Third places went to Louw Vermeulen (The Bell) and Shane Nienaber (Riverside), and Dora Vosloo (Margate CC) and Jane Massam (Hibberdene).

Bowlers of the year were Eddie and Pam.

Achiever of the year awards went to Shane Nienaber (Riverside) and Vi Pells (Margate BC).

Club of the year award went to Riverside.

KBA’s annual general meeting was held recently and the executive is as follows: President – Ron Weddell; vice-president – Jessica Henderson; secretary – Carol McMullin; treasurer – Stefan Helberg; competition secretary (men) – Luke Pohl; competition secretary (women) – Johannie Theron; member – Ross Ferguson.

MARGATE BC

CRAYFISH Inn tabs winners were Annette Payne, Derek McKechnie, Trevor Haywood and Kobie Ritchie.

Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach winners were Martiens Olivier and Rennie Geyer, from Denzil Massyn and Ken Mills.

Session to Gary Hess and Dereck Schorn. 50/50 board to Lance Marshall.

THE Hair Shoppe women’s fours were won by Kobie Stander, Eileen Lloyd, Marie Rogers and Winnie Hess.

Runners-up were Pam Cole-Cook, Ellen Cawker, Dora Vosloo and Vi Pells. The raffle won by Olwen Gibbs.

PSCC

A FULL house of 12 teams took part in the monthly Harbour View SuperSpar trips last Sunday.

Winners were Kevin and Lesley Lancaster, with Phillip Geyer.

Runners-up were Eddie Fann, Caroline Harris and Nico de Jong.

Session prizes went to Mark and Brandon Nicholas, with Nikita Coetzer.

TWENI

RAZZEL’S fours was won by Johnny Meyer, Maureen Vorster, Daphne Hounsell and Dennis Schmidt, from runners-up Jan Huygen, Derick Cilliers, Dehlia Lew and Jan Potgieter.

The South Coast Herald men’s pairs was won by Peter Anderson and Keith Mills from runners-up Jan Huygen and Mike Mannion.

The Handicap Singles women’s winner was Val Bedecker from Jenny Graham.

Men’s winner was Jan Potgieter from Geoff Kelleher.

VILLAGE

HIBISCUS Retirement Village men’s trips winners were Gerhard Walden, Gerald Create and Phillip Pretorius.

Runners-up were Dereck Schorn, Rob Miller and Manny Rodrigues.

Sessions to Leo Niese, Harry Nicholson and Trevor Prinsloo, as well as John Keppler, Aubrey Hood and Kotie Snyman.
