Gusty conditions seem to be the order of the day at the moment but, with a little adjustment, tennis can still be enjoyed.
Five courts were in use at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday and Chris Polinski brought along tasty sausage rolls, savoury bread and delicious Lamingtons.
This year’s championships will be played early in the new year, so practise hard everyone.
The end-of-year function will be held on December 8 and there will be a round robin followed by a spitbraai. Please put your names on the list in order to assist the caterers.
