Goodman and Peter pull out the stops

All other Striders managed to finish in under five hours.

BLUFF Marathon is renowned for taking it all out of the participants, due to the many climbs encountered on the course and humid conditions.

Some 16 South Coast Striders braved the very hilly route for the marathon and half-marathon.

In the marathon, Goodman Nqayi pulled out all the stops and came in 10th place in a superb time of 03:02.

All other Striders managed to finish in under five hours.

In the half marathon, club speedster Peter Chidzungu proved himself again, with a fifth place in a time of 1:12, only three minutes behind the winner.

David and Joshua Morrison-Young ran in the Summer Series Honey Trail in the Inchanga area.

They did the 15km route which, although very hilly, was spectacular in scenery.
