Bishop, Kazi save Southerns against Umlazi
Batting was not easy and Kazi made the most of the conditions, completely befuddling Umlazi with his fizzing off-spinners, taking 5-12 in five overs.
SOUTHERN KwaZulu-Natal cricketers beat Umlazi by 101 runs in a Promotion A league game played in overcast weather at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

Matt Redinger, who had blasted 89 the week before in a 107 run win over DHS Rhythm in Durban, was out for a duck.
Sachin Kalkapersad was out for 2, Ashley Lombard for 3 and Alviro Nadadsen for 2 to leave Southerns in more than a spot of bother at 17-4.
Fortunately, Morné Bishop continued his impressive form – he made 82 against DHS Rhythm – and played well for 92, just missing out on what would have been a superb ton.
He had valuable support from Raja Kazi, who weighed in with 35.
Other runs were scored by Meshan Lanka (1), Sahal Mansur (12) and Mzekele Dingaan (7).
