Next sponsored competitions are the Tiago’s mixed pairs 2-4-2 this Wednesday (28th) and the Tops Port Edward men’s pairs on Sunday, December 9.

HIBBERDENE

Suzuki mixed trips were won by Gloria Gerrard, Fay Patterson with Dennis Lewis.

Runners-up were Roger Burwood, Martin Rautenbach with Frances Raymond.

Session was won by Arthur and Miriam Seager with Rentie Stevens.

The greens opened with a full green and the club is fully operational again.

MARGATE BC

Spar trips winners were Lenie Geyer, Ron Vink and Barry Mollet.

Women’s 2-bowl trips winners were Janet Larkins, Sandy Ferguson and Edith Button, from Marianne van Buuren, Mary Warner and Sariena Ziervoegel.

Session to Franci Philpott, Heidi Bracegirdle and Jeanne Gregori.

Morning bowls followed by 80th anniversary lunch this Sunday (25th). Office duty – Ron Vink and Gerry Davey.

MARGATE CC

JL Panelbeaters sponsored the annual men’s fours ladder competition, which was won overall by Johan Buys, Colin Hudson, Kevin O’Donoghue and Tony Hoggins from AMBC.

The last round was won by Steve Rennie, John Keppler, Aubrey Hood and Andreas van der Linde.

Runners-up were Jokkie van Buuren, Dave Banks, Rob Lyle and Ken Simm.

Shelly Beach SuperSpar open trips winners were Graham and Anji Gold with Peter McCarthy.

Runners-up were Gordon Ogilvie, Gary Hess and Derek Schorn.

MUNSTER

Mariners open trips winners were Chris Green, Val Smith and Anthony Card.

Runners-up were Hennie and Marie Pretorius with Fanie Kruger. Second session went to Cliff Moakes, Phil Longden and Gail Botes.

Hibiscus Brokers mixed trips next Thursday (29th). No tabs in afternoon.

PORT EDWARD

Winners of the Cowshed and Golden Moon 2-bowl trips were John Keppler, Andreas van der Linde and Mary Warner, from Roger Humphrey, Dave Hume and Leoni Booth.

Second session winners were Rob Lyle, Val Smith and Pat Brand Lyle.

The Ramsey Gardens sponsored draw went to Elbe Snyman.

The club will host the women’s league this Saturday morning and the men’s fours league in the afternoon. Social tabs-in bowls will commence at 2pm.

RIVERSIDE

Well done to Marilyn Francis and Americo da Silva, winners of the Hopdens Spar competition.

Runners-up were Olwen Gibbs, Tony Bishop and Kevin Button.

First session was won by Jenny Bruce, Jannie van der Nest and George Walton.

Second session to Vi Eltis, Linda Hansell and Willy Button.

THE BELL

Condolences go to the family of Dawie Schlebusch, who died after a struggle with cancer.

On a lighter note, thanks to Tony Aveyard for organising the quiz evening.

Winners of the Food Lover’s Market were Desiree and Barry Krause. Runners-up were Gerda and Peter Clark. Second session winners were Kevin Mullen and Stippie Scholtz.

Hibiscus Retirement Village men’s trips were Gerhard Waldeck, Gerald Crerar and Phillip Pretoius.

Runners-up were Graham Fisher, Vernon Clements and Brent Addison.

Hibiscus Brokers mixed trips winners were Harry and Madge Nicolson, with Leo Niese.

Runners-up were John Gibson, Marilyn Francis and Butch Bruce.
