Bronze medals for South Coast karateka
The boys held their own against some tough opposition.
TWO young karateka flew the South Coast flag with pride and honour at the 2018 Commonwealth Karate Federation Games 2018 tournament held at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban last weekend.
Tyler Hogan won bronze for kata in his division, while Wian de Beer won bronze for kumite.
Both karatekas attend Suid-Natal Martial Arts Academy, training under Sensei Coenie Vrey.
