Tweni tennis takes the heat
An exciting array of eats was the order of the day as usual when Colin Barker is on duty.
After the recent energy-sapping heat at Umtentweni Tennis Club, it was a pleasure to play on Saturday and there were five courts going with visitor, David Cox, joining members for social tennis while his daughters and their cousins also filled a court.

Tisch Roos is also still here and lends a different thought process to the game when on court – everyone really has to have their wits around them when playing with or against Tisch.
An interesting and exciting snippet of news is that the South Coast will host the Ugu South Coast Seniors’ Tournament from July 4 to 7 this year.
Members will look forward to having a lot of players from different parts of South Africa, as well as all our local seniors, taking part in this prestigious event.

Cathy provided a tasty chiffon cake, biscuits decorated for Christmas, sarmies and cheese puffs, chips and dip for those who do not have such a sweet tooth!
