International celebrities to tee it up at San Lameer

The interdisciplinary round table on the Saturday evening about solution approaches to the violence in South Africa will be hosted by radio personality Sonia Booth.

PLeace Awaken NPC and San Lameer Country Club will host the second round of PLeace Golf Africa, an international celebrity golf tournament, from January 18-21 this year.

The PLeace Awaken Celebrity & Living Legends Golf Tour is a series of celebrity golf events, initiated to bring people of influence from entertainment, sports and politics together for the betterment of those who have been overlooked and for those who have lost their voice or are too despondent to raise it anymore.

Actor Aidan Quinn.

Included in the field will be actors Aidan Quinn and Gregory Harrison, legendary golfer Mark McNulty, radio personality Maps Maponyane, footballer Matthew Booth, former Springbok rugby players Jannie de Beer and Chester Williams, as well as the defending champions Piere Strydom (jockey) and professional golfer Bobby Lincoln.

These events create a platform for an international round table and think-tank … it’s a chance to take to the course and sit around the table with experts and pioneers of working solutions in front of a highly influential international audience of celebrities, dignitaries and world economic leaders, who’re hoping to help create positive change at grass root level in different areas around the world.
