Driving force for cricket

Quinton is delighted to be entering into this partnership with Cardinals once again.

Basil Britz, the dealer principal of Cardinals/Honda in Shelly Beach, enjoys cricket almost as much as he does cars.

With this in mind, he has put Hollywoodbets Dolphins bowling coach, Quinton Friend, behind the wheel of a courtesy car from Cardinals, in conjunction with Capital Car Hire, for the forthcoming season.

The Hollywoodbets Dolphins and VB Knights are currently mid-way through a three match pre-season festival the Port Shepstone Country Club this week.

They’ll be playing a T20 game today (Thursday) starting at 1pm, and a celebrity golf day this Friday.

Quinton said he was delighted to be in partnership with Basil again.

They go back a long way, with Basil having a sponsored a car for him in his playing days.

On a more personal note, Quinton was instrumental in teaching Basil’s son Chase to bowl.

Chase is at Glenwood High in Grade 11 and forms part of the first team cricket squad.

Quinton said the dealership strived for enhanced performance and so was a great fit for cricket.

Basil said he was proud to be backing the Hollywoodbets Dolphins, and playing a role by providing dependable vehicles.

“Our partnership with Quinton is an excellent opportunity for us to support a fantastic sport that reaches so many people,” he said.
