Young cricketers make coach proud

Du Plooy, a Park Rynie local, has also done her coach proud and recently attained her KZN Girls U16 provincial colours.

The Clinton Moodley Cricket Academy congratulates young cricketers, Deshan Pillay and Veronique du Plooy on their outstanding cricket accomplishments.

Pillay, a Scottburgh local was awarded a cricket scholarship to Glenwood High School.
“I’d like to thank my coach Clinton for the many hours of coaching, so that I can achieve my dreams in cricket,” said Pillay.

He also thanked his mum and teammates for all their love and support over the many years.

Du Plooy, a Park Rynie local, has also done her coach proud and recently attained her KZN Girls U16 provincial colours.

She will be travelling to the Eastern Cape with the squad to participate in National Cricket Week.

“We are trying to raise funds for Du Plooy to go on tour and ask for sponsors to come forward,” said coach Clinton Moodley.

Moodley stated that he is extremely proud of all that his players have achieved recently.
The cricket academy also sends its best wishes to Deshan as he begins his new cricket adventure next year.
