MARGATE
The club hosted the Crayfish Inn women’s open trips competition last Friday, which was won by Yvonne Bausek, Margaret Duffield and Kobie Ritchie, ahead of runners-up Helen Proctor, Mal Sheppard and Ren Smuts. The session prize went to Kobie Stander, Dora Vosloo and Winnie Hess while Margaret Duffield was crowned the 50/50 winner.

The next club events will take place this Friday (25th) and will be the Food Lover’s Market open pairs at 14:00 with tabs days taking place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, also at 14:00.

THE VILLAGE
In the recent Spec-Savers open 2-4-2 pairs, Annette Payne and Alison Dinning were the day’s winners, ahead of runners-up Gary Hess and Dill Eccles.

Steve Ciampi and Darry Mollett won the first session prize, while second session prize went to Allan Tyers and Clive Bignell.

TWENI
The club hosted the Oribi Wimpy ladies pairs recently which was won by Desiree Krause and Winnie Hess. In second place were Anette Scott and Amanda Taylor, while the session prize was won by Rentia Williamson and Rosemary Ludwick.

THE BELL
Winners of the 2-4-2 sponsored by Food Lover’s Market were Hans and Dina van der Walt, ahead of Kevin Mullen and Gail Newby who finished in second place. The session prize went to Barbara Fernihough and Jimmy Holtshauzen. Well done to all the members who won their sections last weekend in the KBA pairs, and good bowling this Sunday (27th) in the play offs.

HIBBERDENE
The drawn trips competition sponsored by Hennie Duvenhage was held at the club last Friday. First place went to Albert Munnik, Miriam Seager and Jimmy Hay, while Charmaine van der Westhuizen, Werner Moody and Heleen Oosthuizen were runners-up. Bruce Hoyer, Judy Aiston and Johan Heath placed third.

The next competition will be this Friday (25th) and it will be a drawn trips competition sponsored by Remax from Hibberdene.
