Residents of the South Coast will remember the missing paddler whose kayak and belongings were found on the banks of the Mzimkhulu River at the river mouth in June this year.
The missing kayaker was Vic Pretorius, a paddler whose ambition was to raise R70 000 for the Lower South Coast SPCA and Harmony Hill by paddling 70 kilometres to celebrate his 70th birthday.
Sadly, Vic didn’t see his dream come to fruition and lost his life doing what he loved – paddling.

To honour his wishes, his wife Anita and friends decided to host a fundraiser with a difference.
