Fun day for fishermen
Don Solomon will give a talk on the spearfishing nationals and on decompression illness.
Hibiscus Underwater Club (HUC) spearfishermen are holding a family fun day to raise funds to send the Southern KZN team to the national spearfishing champs in Gqeberha in April this year.
It will be held on Kurt Bunge’s family dam in Oribi this Saturday.
Activities will include a species fishing competition, guided forest walks, boat rides, tractor rides, cycling, and a raffle.

The fundraiser will start at 13:00 and carry on till late.
Entrance is R200 per person and R100 for under 12s.
Ticket prices include lamb on the spit.
Bring rods, bikes, chairs, sunscreen, costumes, a gazebo for a day that’s going to be buckets of fun.
