All set for Restoration Cup tournament

Some 65 years ago, members of the Port Shepstone Country Club set an example of what could be done after a natural disaster.

They set up the Restoration Cup, a tournament that has represented unity in rebuilding after a disaster. This year, the main sponsors are Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach, Garrun Group, Charles Hulley and Belinda van Wyk.

Golf, squash and padel will be played on June 1 and 2 and bowls the following weekend.

Today, Port Shepstone’s golf course is still very popular and well-supported by local and overseas golfers.
