The month of May had the Village Eagles play at Umkomaas Golf Club, on a course in very good condition.
Some 62 players teed it up on a beautiful morning for golf.
Lost ball count was a low 51 balls and the prize went to Noel Jessop for his estimate.

Best Lady on the day was Stella Scott on 47 individual points.
Henry Hampson took the men’s prize on 40 points.
Winners of the alliance on the day were Wikus van Kraayenburg, Allen Behrendt, Rob Bowman and Stella Scott on an impressive score of 98 points.
Longest day and collecting the Stone Trophy were Patrick Sheehan, Paul Thomas, Trevor Bell and Fred van Prooijen on 81 points.
Results were calculated by Stan Sim, Alistair Eyers and Eddie Matthews for filling in the ghost scores, thank you for the efforts.

Eddie presented the results and this went off without a hitch.
On the fine’s side Jeremy Boyd was the master on the day and this was well supported.
