New chairman for Margate Round Table

Margate Round Table eagerly anticipates another successfully year of community projects.

Margate Round Table No. 46 recently celebrated its annual induction dinner at St Michaels Hotel.

The outgoing chairman, Rupert Niebuhr, addressed the gathering, highlighting a successful year filled with strong camaraderie and impactful community projects.

The evening saw the following awards being issued: Chelsea Grobler was awarded Table Leg of the Year, and Shane Woolley was honoured as Tabler of the Year.

A poignant moment arrived as Rupert Niebuhr received his 41er walking stick, marking his transition to the esteemed 41 Club after reaching the age limit for active membership in Round Table.

The Chairman’s Gong was then passed to Armand Grobler, who officially assumed the role of chairman for the year ahead.

Margate Round Table eagerly anticipates another year of vibrant fellowship, engaging community service and memorable experiences.

Margate Round Tablers are known to have great fun while fundraising for community projects.
