Pro Vision tees off for 2025

There's always much banter and friendly rivalry.

The Pro Vision Golf and Social Club teed off for the start of their 2025 season at Port Shepstone Country Club last Sunday.

This was their first league match/monthly mug, and it was sponsored by Jess Verster. Thirty six players braved the blistering heat.

The format this year caters for mug winners to be able to come from all three divisions.

Top five in the A division were Sbu Ntozakhe on 38 points, Santhos Baskali on 36 points, counting out Loyiso Goqwana with Kevin Govender next on 32 points, counting out Anba Pillay.

B division honours went to Kaya Manona on 38 points, followed by Derrick Zama on 35 points, Basil King on 34 points, Niren Ghingai on 32 points and Howard Crouch on 29 points.

In the C division, the winner, for the first time, was Rajin Govender on 33 points, followed by Nkosinathi Gumede on 30 points and then Ravin Ranjit on 28 points.

In fourth place was Jerome Ragavan on 26 points, counting out Rogers Perumal.

League points were given to the top 10 players per division.

The next match is the second league/Captain’s Cup to be held at Margate Country Club.

Names for the matchplay must be given on or before March 2. Team golf details must also be finalised by then.
