Results from some South Coast bowling clubs.

SOUTHBROOM
Team Paradise won the inaugural Southbroom Triads bowling competition held over the Easter weekend. They comprised Chris Faber, Cliff Peterson, Vernon Clements and Glyn Evans.
The competition was launched to mark the 75th anniversary of the opening of the club. Generous sponsorship from local businesses meant that the prizemoney totalled R18000.
The Triads format – three trios of ‘Dragons’ comprised two skins of five ends each, with an eleventh skin played in the event of a tie.
The resultant scoring meant that almost every team still had a chance of winning well into day two.
Runners-up were Eileen Burt, Bruce Burt/Helen Proctor, and husband and wife novices Paul and Shirley Longmore, all of Southbroom.
Third place went to Riverside’s Dylon Schoeman, Bertha Lane, Rentia Williamson and Sanet Schoeman.

TWENI
The Oribi Wimpy ladies’ pairs played on April 18 was won by Jing Wu Eltringham and Alette Bennette.
They were followed by Tammy Gibbons and Tillie Kirkland.
Session went to Annette Suther and Di de Wet.

PSCC
The recent business day, sponsored by Haval and GWM Shelly Beach, was won by Peter von Brandis, Dick Eltringham, Mike Schmidt and Jing Wu Eltringham.
Runners-up were Alex Bukes, Marie Strauss, Tillie Kirkland and Vernon Strauss.
