Ilse ignites at Sheppie

The weather has been wonderful for golf.

Ilse Steyn won the May round of the Ten Cup Series last Saturday on 45 points, by six from Theo van Rooyen and Gavin van Wyk, who both had 39 points. Kreeson Naicker was fourth on 38 points and Howard Crouch fifth on 37 points. Nearest the pins were Ilse Steyn (5th), Sidney Shingange (8th), Theo van Rooyen (14th) and Sidney Shingange (17th). Nearest to two: Paul Geoffery (18th).

Annie Creane won the Wednesday competition at Port Shepstone Country Club on 39 points.
Runner-up was Charles Hulley on 38 points, with Ian Stewart in third place on 36 points.

The Hibiscus Coast Electrical Fowl Friday saw Jenny Hulley win on 23 points, followed by Cameron Olivant on 20 points.

There were three players on 19 points, with the countout favouring Ian Stewart, then Charles Hulley, with Lane Allan in fifth place.

The ladies played in the Natalia Foursomes last Sunday, won by Annie Creane and Jennifer Duncan. They will advance to the next round to be played later in the year.
