South Coast Striders members are ready to tackle the 2025 Comrades Marathon, from Pietermaritzburg to Durban this Sunday.
There will be 30 in total, ranging from novices to veterans with multiple medals between them. Some will be hoping for a personal best, others just to finish.
Striders will have three water tables along the route, with seconders and supporters, friends and family cheering them on.
Striders held their traditional Pasta Party at Margate Country Club recently, where guest speaker Carol Mercer (three time gold medallist) shared her experiences and gave some valuable advice to the runners for the challenge ahead.
