Restoration Cup this weekend

The two-day competition creates a marketing platform for local businesses, as it's a great opportunity to meet the community.

Catch all the golfing action at the Restoration Cup at Port Shepstone Country Club this Saturday and Sunday (7th and 8th).

The tournament was established after the clubhouse and golf course were destroyed by floods in 1959.

Since then, the club has hosted the event annually to raise funds to repair and improve facilities.

For the past 11 years, it has partnered with Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach.

The Restoration Cup attracts full fields of golfers and many sponsors who are joined afterwards by family and friends for an evening of festivities at the clubhouse.

The two-day competition also creates a marketing platform for local businesses, as it’s a great opportunity to meet the community, and build relationships with the public at large.
Some of the festivities include live entertainment on both days, watering/sponsor holes on the golf course, a R100 000 cash prize for a hole-in-one on hole 17, and fantastic overall prizes to be won.
