Umdoni athletes showcase sports skills at disability games

They showcased their skills, teamwork and competitive spirit across various sporting codes.

It was a vibrant celebration of inclusivity, talent and unity at this year’s Disability Games.

The event was hosted by Ugu District Municipality at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre recently.

Some of these games included table tennis, wheelchair basketball and chess.

Athletes living with disabilities from across the district, including Umdoni, showcased their skills, teamwork and competitive spirit across these various sporting codes.

Their passion and determination inspired everyone in attendance.

The games reflect Ugu’s commitment to promoting equal access to sporting opportunities and creating a more inclusive society where every individual can take part, excel and be celebrated.

Several athletes from the Umdoni area were at the Disability Games.
