Enjoyable day for Village Eagles at Umkomaas Golf Club

The next game will be on December 2.

The Village Eagles Golf Club played at the Umkomaas Golf Course on November 4.

The golf course was in good condition, and the players thank all the staff for the effort made.

There were 60 players in attendance on a lovely morning. The lost ball count was a low 37, and the prize went to Joe Davies for his estimate which was the closest.

Best woman was Michelle van der Merwe with 36 individual points and Eddie Mathews took the men’s prize on 40 points.

The winners on the day were Dereck McKecknie, Allen Behrendt, Corrie Barnardo and Eezie Waldhausen on an alliance score of 91 points.

The longest day and collecting the Stones Trophy were Anton Hauptfleish, Rick St John, Brian Richards and Joe Davies on 75 points.

The results were calculated by Stan Sim and Alistair Eyers – thank you for the effort.

Eddie Mathews presented the results, and this went without a hitch. On the fines side, Jeremy Boyd was the master and this was well supported.

The club thanks all sponsors for making this an enjoyable day.

The next game will be held at Umdoni Park Golf Club on December 2. See you all there.
