Paddock Fishing Compo promises a reel good weekend
Some 800 people are expected to attend a fun-filled weekend of fishing, camping and prizes.
Anglers and families are getting ready for one of the South Coast’s biggest and most popular outdoor events – the annual Paddock Fishing Compo – from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22.
The event is expected to attract more than 800 people for a fun-filled weekend of fishing, camping and prizes. And the forecast promises great weather for a weekend on the water. With over 30 fully stocked dams and more than R150 000 worth of prizes, it’s no wonder the compo remains a major drawcard for fishing enthusiasts from across the region.
In addition to the fishing, several lucky draws will take place.
The main cash draw offers a top prize of R5000, along with two additional draws of R1500 each.
Every ticket automatically qualifies, so the more tickets you have, the better your chances of winning.
Armbands will grant access to the club grounds and dams.
Camping is available for those wanting to make a full weekend of it.
