Scottburgh athletes enjoy Durban marathon

The Scottburgh club welcomes interested athletes to join.

Members of Scottburgh Athletic Club took on the Balwin Sport Dolphin Coast Marathon in Durban on March 22.

This year’s race was bigger and better than previous years. Athletes had free race shirts (first 4000 entries), medals, photos, goodie bags and great race organisation on the M4 coastal highway from Ballito to Durban.

The marathon featured 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km options.

Well done to the Scotties members who participated and represented the local community.

Don’t forget, local athletes are invited to join the club. Should you be interested, contact Lelani Ackhurst on 076 8336619.
