Golf victory for first-time winners at Southbroom Ladies’ Classic
The hugely popular tournament was again a resounding success.
The 21st Southbroom Ladies’ Classic has come and gone, with Anneli Botha and Cindy Merrington winning on 84 points.
They are from Eagle Canyon in Johannesburg and it was their first time winning this tournament.

Runners-up were Allyson Thomas and Shirley Jeffery on 83 points, followed by Louise Leal and Precious Solgevik on 82 points.
In fourth spot were Belinda Dass and Minah Sinlane-Blom on 81 points.

There were three pairs on 79 points, with the countout favouring Makkie Scheepers and Tracey Mills, then Wollie Winter and Karen Dengler, with Sone Jordaan and Sue Cartwright having to settle for seventh place.
A further point behind in eighth place on 78 points were Jos Ivison and Annie Bruwer, with Rhona Thomas and Cayley Bolleurs in ninth on 77 points, with counted out Vash Pillay and Jenny Brewis rounding out the top 10.
