Southbroom edge out Selborne in golf league

The Southbroom Golf Club league team pulled off a crucial 7-5 win over visitors Selborne Park at Southbroom,

Neighbours Margate CC went down 7,5-4,5 to Umdoni Park. Port Shepstone, who won their opening game, had a bye.

Southbroom has won the Southern KZN Handicap for the past two years and will be targeting three in a row, plus the prizemoney on offer which goes to the winning club.

Next round is at Selborne Park on July 26, with the fourth round at Umdoni on August 23. The final round is at Margate on September 6.
