Walking on Water went back to the top of the log after a good win against the Lambazi Lurkers in round seven of the Hibiscus Coast SuperTrips.
Comprising Cleve Walker, Julie Walker and Tony Waters, they beat an illness-induced makeshift team comprising Gerhard Waldeck, Gary Wells and Jo Wells at Margate on July 23.
The year-long competition has attracted 60 teams of three, each of whom plays six ends as lead, second and skip.
Fixtures are played monthly at five venues, and teams play on a strength versus strength basis such that every team can play at a comfortable level bracketed into three sections of 20 team each.
The silver division is headed by Paradise, namely Vernon Clements, Chris Faber and Wikus van Vollenstee.
Winners this month were as follows:
Margate: Bowling Buddies (Eddie Fann, Maureen Muller and Wayne Muller).
Riverside: Mind Over Matter (Kerry Fielden, Mari Fielden and Bill Sargeant).
Banners Rest: Fast Bowlers (Shane Nienaber, Ross Ferguson and Neville Grundling), leaders of the bronze division.
Munster: The Wizards (Dillon Schoeman, Pat Maulgue and Barbara Egan).
Southbroom: The C-Cs (Pam Cole-Cook, Brian Cole-Cook and Bruce Lund).
