South Coast athletes shine at national cross-country champs
Their hard work paid off at a national cross-country event.
The South African Christian Schools’ Sports Association (SACSSA) national cross-country championships were held in Bethlehem recently.
South Coast athletes Ziacque Verheem placed sixth in the boys’ U9 category, and Amonè Roos placed third in the girls’ U13 age group.
The event welcomed athletes from across Southern Africa, including Gauteng, KZN, Free State, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
