Chairman’s valiant efforts applauded

Prof Ransome is thanked for his efforts and Mr Hulley is wished well.

FOR the past five years Professor Olliver Ransome has been at the helm of the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association.

During his time in office he spearheaded many successful initiatives mostly aimed at ensuring the region achieved its economic potential.

While it must have been a frustrating term, the chairman can be proud of the goals that were met.

It is hoped that the new chairman Bruce Hulley will continue to work towards the reduction of people costs at the municipalities, keep the rates affordable, improve work ethics at local government level and ensure that managers are held accountable for getting the job done.

Prof Ransome is thanked for his efforts and Mr Hulley is wished well.
