‘Hunters’ had a sweet tooth
Loads of Easter eggs formed part of the grand festivities.
A VERY successful Easter egg hunt took place at the Pont in Port Edward on Easter Sunday. A total of 62 children took part ,of whom 22 were from the Place of Restoration in Margate. Jean Masson, director at The Pont and his team, together with Stacey Upfold from Ultimate Events, organised a 22-seater bus to collect the children from Margate.
Before the Easter egg hunt the children coloured in pictures and made paper baskets. They were also treated to a bottle of cool drink. A jumping castle proved to be a massive hit for the children, judging by the huge smiles on their faces!
The Pont provided 15 boxes of marshmallow eggs for the hunt as well as one beautiful novelty Easter egg from the Easter bunny. Each child had to find 10 eggs during the hunt and extra Easter eggs that were left over were given to the Place of Restoration.
Proceeds of R2 000 from this event went to Child Welfare South Africa, Port Shepstone.
