RJ’s offers hearty family meals

YOU definitely get what you pay for at RJ’s Restaurant in Southcoast Mall. It is a place where one can relax with friends and family and enjoy a deliciously prepared and beautifully presented meal.
The extensive menus cater for all tastes, whether you’re vegetarian or a meat lover, the choice is endless. “The chargrilled steaks, ribs and curries are very popular,” says owner/manager Lewis Pillay. “The strength of this restaurant is our kitchen and we are lucky to have experienced staff.”
There are different menus to choose from. The breakfast menu offers a good start to the day, the lunch menu has a super selection of lighter meals and the main dinner menu has it all, no matter what you desire. Then, of course, the children’s menu will keep the little ones happy.
The Sunday buffet is available from 12pm to 3.30pm and you can eat as much as you want. The rest of the week the eatery is open on Mondays from 12pm to 10pm and from Tuesday to Sunday it is open from 10am to 10pm.
The upstairs section of the restaurant is specially designed for children’s parties, with 110 square metres of play space. What’s nice about it is that parents can relax and eat their meal while watching their children play safely.
“People seem to think that we have moved,” says Lewis. “We are still here and the new restaurant in Margate is not connected to this branch,” he says.
This fully licensed restaurant is open 365 days a year and can seat up to 240 people.
Patrons can look forward to a brand new look in the near future with a revamp on the cards.
