Prepare to be ‘upstaged’ at Stages

The restaurant has a mouth-watering menu and breathtaking views.

SINCE opening in 2012, Stages restaurant, situated on the Port Shepstone beachfront, has quickly gained a reputation as a ‘must-visit’ venue.

The reasons for this are numerous, but the highlights include the 180 degree sea view, and of course, the close proximity to the beach.

On clear evenings, the view of the starlit sky over the ocean is quite something to behold.

Then there are the tasty meals at very affordable prices.

The restaurant has a wonderful setting, and adds class and sophistication to an area that is sometimes considered not so trendy.

It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and to just relax for a few hours.

The service is as good as the food and you will leave feeling most satisfied.

There’s something for everyone on the menu, including delicious breakfasts, seafood and meat platters.

A children’s menu caters for the younger ones.

One of Stages’ specialities is the succulent chicken wrap which comes with caramelised red onions and stir fried vegetables.

A juicy steak won’t cost an arm and a leg, with the 400g rump , served with a choice of fried chips, salad or vegetables (and including a sauce of choice – barbeque, mushroom, peri-peri, soy or honey) only costing R89.

Stages has a fully licensed bar and an extensive wine list.

Stages caters for corporate events and private functions and also offers a takeaway service.

Every Women’s Day, the restaurant hosts a ‘high tea’ to pamper and celebrate women on the South Coast.
