Major tourism plans

The MEC alluded to the construction of a destination development in the Hibberdene area.

BILLIONS will be pumped into a development that will rejuvenate the South Coast’s tourism industry.

The MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mike Mabuyakhulu, said the South Coast was an integral part of the province’s overall plan for radical economic transformation.

While he did not reveal specific details the MEC alluded to the construction of a destination development in the Hibberdene area.

He addressed local captains of industry at a gala dinner held in Margate on Monday this week.

We can only hope that these plans have more success than the yacht basin ones did.
