A totally British affair at Tom, Dick and Harry
The restaurant has been serving the best of British for more than a quarter of a century.
TOM, Dick and Harry is not just a retreat for those in search of a great plate of fish and chips.
The restaurant, which has been in existence for 28 years, moved from the Mud Hut to its current location in Ramsgate Boulevard Centre 12 years ago.
It has an extensive menu which offers food lovers a pot-pourri of treasures from the briny, including calamari, a delicious prawn curry, kingklip, linefish, a belly-filling fisherman’s platter or 10 large prawns on a bed of rice.
Owners for the past 21 years, Peter and Theresa Thom, have taken all tastes into consideration and are geared up to entertain patrons seven days a week (in season) with a variety of affordable dishes.
If seafood isn’t your personal choice, the restaurant’s legendary traditional dishes are worthy of any true British pub lunch status.
Tripe and onions, bangers and mash and haggis are complemented by burgers, steaks, ribs and a to-die-for lamb curry.
If you just want to wet your whistle, the bar at Tom, Dick and Harry is a hive of activity, with African grey parrot Squeaky’s antics endearing her to even the most retiring patrons.
The restaurant is closed on Sundays out of season.
