Crayfish Inn is still a seafood hot spot

Enjoy superb seafood at this Ramsgate landmark.

THE Crayfish Inn is known for its generous portions, as for well as being a place to which diners return to sample the fresh and delicious cuisine time and time again.

This landmark restaurant has been around for seven decades and not only is it a local favourite throughout the year, but it is also a hive of activity during season.

Patrons can enjoy the rich seafood platters which consist of crayfish, prawns, mussels, fish and calamari, large enough to share.

The Crayfish Inn also plates up a mouth-watering 200g or 300g lazy aged steak which is accompanied by chips, rice or baked potato and sauce of choice.

It also offers affordable pub lunches, ranging from R35 to R50 and is a great place to watch sport live on television while enjoying a bucket of beers (something new for the boys).

The restaurant offers either a formal, elegant seating area or a casual, garden-like setting with picnic tables.

There is a more intimate dining area for romantic date nights which can be closed off for private functions.

The extensive wine list boasts many labels, sourced from the finest estates, and will complement your meal perfectly.

Staff members are friendly and the food is always great value for money.

Situated on Marine Drive in Ramsgate, the restaurant is just metres away from the popular Ramsgate beach and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

The restaurant is open daily from 11am to 9pm. For more details or to book, phone 039 3144790 or 083 2687621.
