THE South Coast is set to roll out the `orange’ carpet for Africa Bike Week.

Already there is a great vibe in anticipation of the thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts who are about to rev things up.

Motorists are urged to give the bikers the right of way (it is only for a few days) and to note that certain roads around Margate beachfront will be closed to traffic.

To those who have spruced up for the HOGs’ (Harley Owners Group) convention – take a bow.

To those who did not, please make a bit of an effort – this is the coast’s biggest event of the year – we need to make the bikers feel at home.
