INFIGHTING over the election of an office bearer has been branded ‘ill-disciplined’ by ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe.
The party’s South Coast branch staged a protest at the Durban City Hall last week where the national executive committee was to meet provincial leaders.
Aggrieved South Coast ANC members threatened to hold a sit-in at the regional office in Port Shepstone unless their concerns were addressed.
They have complained about the election of Mzwandile Mkhwanazi to retain his position for a third term.
And they want a rerun of the conference which was held in November last year.
These squabbles need to be sorted out.
