Despite the disappointing crowd, there was a great atmosphere and worthwhile venturing out in the rain. Festival-goers enjoyed great entertainment, superb cuisine and a range of Portuguese beers to keep any ale lover satisfied.
And although it was very damp underfoot, the annual German bazaar was anything but a washout as parishioners and the public braved the weather to support this hardy annual.
