ONE of the best read pages in the Herald is the opinion page,
We appreciate the letters and smses that we receive and try to publish as many as we can each week.
However, an unsigned (with no address) note which was posted in Port Shepstone needs a response.
The writer says: “You published photographs of a group of women whose mission it is to eat their way around local restaurants. Big deal. Yet you failed to give any coverage of the SANBS milestone donor luncheon. Get your priorities right.”
The first comment is uncalled for and as for the second – the newspaper was not invited to the awards function. No one bothered to inform us.
We are journalists not psychics.
We would have been delighted to acknowledge the blood donors.
