Not happy hookers

Something must be done to save the jewel of the South Coast.

RESIDENTS and the business community in Margate are fed up with the prostitutes on parade.

The South Coast’s premier holiday town is overrun with hookers who lurk on every corner along Marine Drive – even in broad daylight.

Another huge concern is that many of the prostitutes are young teenagers.

But what has angered the home and business owners is the total lack of policing.

Despite asking the police to comment about the complaints no response was received.

Margate is advertised as a family destination – not many families will want to holiday in a place where hookers flash motorists and scream obscenities.

Surely there must be something that can be done to save the `Jewel of the Coast’.
