AN informant called the Herald’s newsroom on Monday this week to report that police were raiding a warehouse in Marburg.
When the journalists arrived at the scene they found the property surrounded by police vehicles.
A person who was at the charge office at the Port Shepstone Police Station saw officers bringing in the firearms, which included AK-47s and R4 rifles.
For three days our reporters have been trying to get information from the police and the Hawks.
But everyone is remaining tight-lipped.
The public has the right to know who owns the weapons.
